The Colony at Pelican Landing
The Colony at Pelican Landing is Phase II in the construction of Pelican Landing. The community has around 1,000 residences and many condos in secure high-rise buildings with fantastic water views of the Gulf of Mexico. Jerry Pate designed the 18-hole Colony Golf & Country Club. The golf club is member-only, and the clubhouse has members-only dining amenities called the Bay Club.
Amenities At The Colony At Pelican Landing
Other amenities include the resort. A golf shop, spa, fitness center, and resort pool facility are available exclusively to all Colony residents. The Colony Bay Club facility has fine dining and breathtaking views of Estero Bay.
The tennis program is a favorite of many owners. There are 12 Har-Tru Courts at the Pelican Landing Tennis Center and a pro shop. Seven of the courts have lighting to play at night. Tournaments and leagues are arranged, and group or individual Tennis lessons are available. Members also have access to a multipurpose room to socialize. In addition to the Tennis amenities, six pickleball courts are available for owners to use and join in with a group.
There is also the Pelican Landing Beach Park on Big Hickory Island, the Community and Fitness Center with state-of-the-art equipment, a Tennis Center, Pickleball Courts, a Kayak and Sailing Facility, and Bocce Ball Courts.
The Beach Park is on 34 acres on the northern tip of Big Hickory Island, available by shuttle boat. The beach has umbrellas and plenty of room to stretch out.
